Also known as pot marjoram, sweet marjoram, and knotted marjoram. A strong spicy pleasant aroma. Milder than oregano with a sweet, minty, woodsy flavor. Marjoram goes well with cabbages, potatoes, and beans. Add towards the end of cooking.
Use in Tomato Sauces, Bean Stews, and Lentil Stews.
