Bay Leaf

Laurus nobilis
Bay Leaf

Also called Bay laurel. A floral and herbal scent reminiscent of oregano and thyme. Used in many cuisines. Buy them fresh and then dry naturally in the fridge. When completely dried, store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

Use either fresh or dried in Homemade Broths, Chunky Soups & Stews, or Tomato Sauces. Remove whole leaves before serving or your guests might get a surpise.

Cuisines: France, Italy, Spain, Lebanon, India, Thailand, Mexico
