Fresh shelling beans are like dried beans, just harvested young when the seeds are full-sized, sweet, and starchy. They are removed (shelled) from their pods, and cooked while fresh. No need for soaking, they can be added to soups, stews, salads, and grains. Cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Delicious with fresh herbs and olive oil.
