A perennial herb with an earthy and herbaceous flavor. Strip the leaves from the stem and add at the beginning of cooking. I always, I mean always, use thyme in mushroom dishes and when making broth.
Use in Homemade Vegetable Broths, Soups & Stews, Mushroom Ragout, and Herbs de Provence.
