Adds a distinctive savory, earthy flavor with a taste and aroma that is a mix of oregano, anise, citrus, and creosote which mellows during cooking. Use only a small amount. Add at the end of cooking.

Epazote is used in Mexican cooking, especially with dried beans to prevent any intestinal disturbances, and to flavor Bean Stews and Mexican Chili. Add at the end of cooking.
