Rose petals have a delicate fruity or sometimes spicy flavor. Use only organically grown flowers for culinary use. Add to Simple Syrups, Jams, or Herbal Teas. A secret ingredient, along with lavender, in the Moroccan spice blend Ras el Hanout.
Grind petals to a powder by pressing them through a fine strainer and add to sugar for dusting cakes.
